From http://slbschoolnagercoil.blogspot.com/ S L B School.It is a famous school in Nagercoil.The School has a great heritage.Started in late 1920s ,the big E shaped building constructed around early 1940s giving a great land mark to Nagercoil next to Vepamoodu(a 2 century old tree).I have been told this school was given by the Travancore Maharani SethuLakshmi bai only for School education purpose and an agreement that this building should not be used for any other purpose.Earlier there are some attempts to bring collector office to this great school building as it was near to Nagercoil Court.As an alumini of this great School I am very thankful to the Great Maharani of Travancore for her magnanamity giving this prestigious school which in turn had created many eminent persons to society.I do welcome alumini to share their old school photos in this Blog.
