Presented here are glimpses of steam, classic diesel locomotives and a couple of trolleys (trams) in passenger service on the B&O, CNS&M, C&NW, C&O, D&RGW, EL, IT, Milwaukee Road, N&W, NYC, , Southern, and Union Pacific. They were filmed during the 40's, 50's and 60's by my father and me and digitally converted by Main Line Motion Pictures (youtube Channel: hoboron). The final shot was made in 2003 on the PKP. Far be it from me to make any silly remarks about dreams coming true (:-))...

1991 MR TWISTER roller coaster Elitch Gardens Denver, CO
It's bad enough for an amusement park to lose one wooden roller coaster but it's a downright travesty when an entire park closes and loses it's 2 star attractions! When Denver's Elitch Gardens closed in 1994, it's 2 classic coasters met the fate of the bulldozer after sitting dormant for several years. Here is a small tribute to one of my all time favorite wooden coasters, Mr Twister, taken from my one and only visit to the park in 1991. What a loss!

Seen on the UPRR in Colorado, 1994
In October 1994 the UP ran an executive train composed of "Heritage Fleet" cars and powered by the E9 ABA set. I filmed them running east through Bennett and Strasburg Colorado. The CC&E had two steamers fired up for the occasion.
