![]() | 1991 MR TWISTER roller coaster Elitch Gardens Denver, CO It's bad enough for an amusement park to lose one wooden roller coaster but it's a downright travesty when an entire park closes and loses it's 2 star attractions! When Denver's Elitch Gardens closed in 1994, it's 2 classic coasters met the fate of the bulldozer after sitting dormant for several years. Here is a small tribute to one of my all time favorite wooden coasters, Mr Twister, taken from my one and only visit to the park in 1991. What a loss! |
