![]() | GT4 Auto Union Nurburgring Lap This is me driving the Auto Union C Streamliner around the Nurburgring in GT mode. No driver assists, S1 tires, stock power except an oil change. I think I used the body stiffness modification. I used the DFP wheel from Logitech and had to set the steering to 200 degrees instead of the full 900 because of the restrictive wheel arches on the car. I have achieved a faster time (a 6'52.320) than this with the same settings, although I like this run as well because it looks so smooth. Enjoy. |

![]() | Old Time Monaco GP 1936,37 Immediately before WWII,GP scenes dominated by Mercedes Benz. W125 was the most succesful machine, a brilliant performance was shown by Ace driver Rudi Caracciora. Only Autounion P-Wargen(TypeD) or fantastic great Italian driver Tazio Nuvorali registed the Silver Arrow. The battle between Caracciola & Nuvorali is similar to Senna & Mansell in 1992. '36 winner Rudi was called "Regnen Meister = Rain Master"same as Senna. '37 winner Von Brauchitsch is the 2nd driver. He made the Neubauer=Team Director mad to run disregarding the team order. History repeats itself. Hey,Lewis! What Ron says need not be heard! |

![]() | Auto Union Type C 1936 Live at Hamburg Stadtparkrennen 2005: This race car developed by Ferdinand Porsche wrote racing history right away like almost no other racing car had done before: In 1936 Auto Union presented with the Type C a monoposto which was almost totally different from all the other racing cars known so far. What stood out especially was the unconventional design of the sensational 16-cylinder engine. |
