Akio Shimizu is one of the guitarists whom I respect very much. Even if it is how much intense, his performance never destroys music. He is a present guitarist of japanese heavy metal band ANTHEM,and he offers some tunes to some popular artists as those who compose, and is inventing some smash hit tunes. However, his own name is not known too much. In the guitar scene in Japan, I think that he is a guitarist who is not getting fame and respect compared with his own ability.
