Me and Elton finished the trouble call on SR-199...and decided to pace the train back through all the crossings (about 30 miles) back to Macon. This was the first time i've ever paced a train...lol...and I loved it!

Railroad Crossing signal inspection 2, train passage
Another train and crossing. While performing required FRA 30 day test, and observing a train passage, I put my camera on the mechanism and video'ed the train through the crossing, I am off the screen to the left. Nice sounding horns on this loco, too bad they have electric solenoids. John Allen running, Trainmaster DK Winans on Conductor side you see with his arm out waving around like he's crazy... heh heh..

Oak St. Crossing Malfunction (Conrail) June 27, 2009
Conrail's crossing was malfunctioning...due to lightning taking out a lightning arrester. It was out since Thursday, June 25, 2009...and the batteries were going dead. Seems that everytime I call malfunctions into Conrail...the NS police (dispatch) think it's cn's problem...and send them out first. Safetran Model 600 Motion Sensor/Grade Crossing Predictor Test
This is a test of my Safetran Model 600 MS/GCP unit. I have 2 of these. They are both functioning as Motion Sensors at the time being. I'm looking to upgrade one to a predictor...once I get the necessary cards. I need 3 additional ones...as you can see...2 empty slots...and one card needs to be swapped out...totaling 3.
