2008 Destruction Derby in Bishop, California - Powder Puff
This is from the 2008 Destruction Derby in Bishop, California at the Tri-County Fair on August 31, 2008. Last year I forgot my camera and had to use my cell phone. This year the video is a little better but the sound is much better. However, I personally think the music at the derby was better last year. Anyway, enjoy the video.
Whore House
Just over the border of California is a closed down whore house called Janies Ranch. I'm not sure exactly when it closed, I'm guessing in the last 10 years because it was open when I lived in Bishop which is about 20 minutes away. I remember coupons for Janie's Ranch advertising deals for fishermen and travelers. One year for the Mule Days parade 3 whores rode on their horses in the parade representing the whore house. They mostly were booed by the locals but it was entertaining nonetheless ...
