Flagg Coal 75 Visits Alabama's Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum In Calera, AL

Description:
The first live, standard guage steam we've seen in Alabama since NS stopped the steam excursions in the early 1990's. This is Flagg Coal #75 on the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museums line out of Calera, AL as seen on May 2, 2009. The Heart of Dixie (HOD) is running this excursion the weekends of May 2-3 and May 9-10, 2009. Tickets are only $15.00 for the 6 mile round trip. Be sure to watch in the middle of the video for the runby that we were treated to on this 10:30 AM trip!!! This was totally un-expected! We had no idea that they decided to do this.
