4-6-0 videos

The loco is great, the sound card is out of sync, and the cinematography is really bad. I was looking for video of the new Bachmann On30 4-6-0, and didn't see any, so here's this. I had just replaced the front coupler, and the model also has custom decals and some light weathering. And a crew. The sound system is a Soundtraxx LC card, which was adjusted on an MRC Prodigy system. For some reason, it doesn't work the same with the Bachmann DCC system. I think it's time for a new DCC system ...

My red Bachmann Big Hauler running around some temporary track in the garage. This is factory standard Anniversary (or Annie) edition and it's seen pulling both freight and passenger trains.

This is the Walt Disney World RR's 3-foot gauge 4-6-0, the "Roger Broggie" filmed in February 2007 running between the Frontierland Station and Main Street USA.

Sorry about the quality, I didn't use a tripod so it's a bit shaky. A simple conversion this one(unlike Dave) due to the tender drive and a metal chassis. I fitted a resistor to the motor which slowed it down but still allowed full power to the smoke unit - so lots of smoke! Enjoy :-)

LMS Royal Scot Class 4-6-0 Numbered 46115 "Scots Guardsman" departs Preston on the Next leg of Railway Touring Companys "Great Britian II" This is the 1Z24 Preston - Glasgow Leg of the few day based charter to Inverness. 47760 then follows the charter all the way to Inverness!!!

Just a quick shot of the 4-6-0 Baldwin narrow gauge steam train in Walt Disney world, Magic kingdom. It was built in the 1920's and used in Mexico. Walt Disney bought it then had it shipped by train up to Florida and restored for use in the Magic kingdom. I shot this with my phone.

The sounds here, recorded on a preserved 'Black Five' operate in similar fashion to the '8F'. Like the '8F', the function keys provide the same selection of sounds including a Stanier hooter and an eight-second sequence of clashing wagon buffers to be used when shunting.

Hello all, Today I was out early, around 7:30ish, cycling to Horsten Grange, a location with a few railway bridges between Nuneaton and Leicester. Tyseley-based GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" was working a Vintage Trains Ltd railtour from Tyseley to York via Leicester and Chesterfield. The Castle sounded in fine form as she barked out of Nuneaton towards Hinckley. The engine was hauling a mixed train of Pullman Cars and normal passengers coaches. The Castle flies past ...

This model represents 32329 in the BR mixed-traffic lined black livery which it would have carried from 1949 to 1956. Oiginally built as powerful 4-6-4 Tank engines this class of 7 were all converted from around 1933 to 4-6-0 plus tender format to work alongside the King Arthur Class.
