So i just decided to catch the return at 11pm. 67019 Pulled the train into Ipswich with switched off 67002 on the rear, Then 67002 was fired up to take the train back to Norwich where its five hour journey ended. A very late upload im afraid! Been busy with making the Mainline Steam 2008 DVD. Anyway here is the video from the 3rd December 2008! During the same day of the appearance of A4 No.60007 Sir Nigel Gresley hauling a charter through Bath, 67025 67017 took to the rails also as they hauled The Bath Christmas Market Charter which was routed from Stevenage - Bristol Temple Meads - Stevenage. Also a 67019 appeared whilst hauling The Christmas Lunch (Round Trip) (Northern Belle) which was routed ...

This was quiet a suprise, having just arrived at Bath Spa and the departure board tells all to stand clear, you often wonder what will turn up. In this case a suprising capture of EWS Class 67, 67019, with The Orient Express (VSOE) on the return leg to London Victoria. A prompt departure, due to being 20 minutes behond schedule, with a blast on the horn for good measure. Enjoy.

We start at Bath Spa with 67019 leading 67020 (DOR) with 2O72 Bristol-Weymouth. On the return I decided to get on them and gave them a mini-bash from Bath-Oldfield Park. Finally we see them depart Oldfield Park 7 late with 2V67 Weymouth-Bristol. Unfortunately they over-ran the platform a little!

Filmed on 24 January. At the start of the video you see 67006 (Royal Sovereign) coming out slowly of Victoria but then stops 10-15 metres after sarting due to the air compressor valve being loose, so the driver stops the train, shuts down the engine and then came out and checked everything...
