9F 92203 Black Prince departs Torr Quarry with 1600 ton stone train. General Motors EMD type SW1001 No. 44 switcher is on the rear. 92203 was built at Swindon in 1959 and was sold for scrap 8 years later. Thankfully David Shepperd save her and she is wareing David Shepperd Wildlife Foundation headbord.

David Shepherd, world famous artist and lover of wildlife, and Steam Locos was at Toddington on 20th August to celebrate the 50th birthday of his steam locomotive 92203 Black Prince, a very fine example of 1959 vintage. David also launched a limited edition N gauge model of 92203. The Harry Potter locomotive makes growling noises at Toddington station (Gloucestershire), as the Knight bus waits outside. With rain threatening, 92203 Black Prince accelerates away from Gotherington and past Skew bridge. I was not popular as the extra distance I walked to the bridge delayed the chase to Hailes where Clive just got his shot and failed I to set up my camera in time. I just shook my head.

From a few weeks ago, when 92203 had just re-enterd service after she had a new brick arch fitted. Great to see her back running!!! I still have a few 5619 videos to go up, as well as some more 92203 ones. I hope that when 5526 runs we will be able to film her. Thank you.
