Algoma videos

In October 1997, we travelled from Hearst to Sault Saint Marrie in Ontario Canada aboard the Algoma Central Railway. It was fall time, and the colours were wonderful. This tour was part of a Polar Bear trip trip Churchill run by Ffestiniog Travel. See my other videos of this trip.

This is a series of scenes depicting the Agawa Canyon on Canadian National Railway's Algoma Central division. The first scene shows the Agawa Canyon scenic overlook and the Camp Car as a northbound freight train rolls by. The second scene is from inside the Camp Car itself as another freight passes. Algoma ATV Day Tour

North bound train #1 with Algoma Central 1753 leading, is about to cross over one of the many boggs and streams on its way to Hearst Ontario. The crew radioed the head end, what they want to do with the beer they found on board. We are just south of Hawk Juction. The second clip is a mile hike north of Hawk Juction, and the third clip is 1/2 mile hike north of the Canadian Pacific diamond st Franz.. This was shot in September 23rd, 1995. Thanks for looking.
