The mythical Argentinian bandoneonist performing "Milonga del Ángel" live at the BBC 1989 with The New Tango Sextet.

Fantastic music by the late grand master Piazzola and Kremer on violin. The beautiful painting is by an argentine artist called Fabian Perez. The piece is originally 12 min long, and I am sorry to say that without mercy had to cut two minute off the end. A grand ending that was, off course. Enjoy!

Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) is especially known for being one of the greatest Argentinean bandonean performers. Like the guitarist Andres Segovia Piazzolla has taken his instrument and the tango on to an international concert stage. He started to play the bandoneon at a very early age and played when only thirteen years old with Carlos Gardél and his band.
