Thomas and I drug our lures around Lake Ballinger again and this in-town lake did amazingly well. We caught and released a bunch of nice Rainbow Trout, but the part to make sure you see is where I bury a triple hook in my hand and have to pull it out. It was first for me and felt oh-so good!

The Ballinger Bearcat Band went to Georgetown on October 24th, 2009 to compete in the Area D Marching Competition.They placed 4th out of the 17 bands present and advanced to the Finals. In Finals, they placed 3rd out of the top 7 bands and will be competing at the State Marching Competion @ the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX on November 2nd, 2009.
