Animation based on the journal article "Reduction of a model of an excitable cell to a one-dimensinal map" by Dr. Georgi S. Medvedev. Here we see the 'fast subsystem' of the Chay model animated through the parameter u from -0.20 to +0.20. We see an Andronov-Hopf bifurcation followed by a Saddle-node bifurcation and ending with a Homoclinic bifurcation. Best viewed in the high-resolution mode (option below video).

I had my tongue split (bifurcated) in 1999 as a test dummy for a former friend of mine who was a piercer when it was legal for them to do it (don't ask) and wanted to show it off. I met the lizard man in 1998 and that was the first time I saw or heard of that being possible, I was a goth teen and at my peak I had 8 piercings in my left ear and six piercings in my right ear, two in my right eyebrow, one septum piercing (the middle of the nose), two lip piercings (one on each side), a labret piercing (the one above the chin), two tongue piercings, both nipples pierced, a navel piercing (one of the socially acceptable ones and the most painful one I have ever had) and well another part of my body. I have a half sleeve tattoo on my right arm and will have full sleeves on both arms eventually and will stop there. I have been suspended twice by hooks and that was a rush like no other. I don't regret any of it and this is part of my growing up. Comments that I don't like, I will remove because I choose what goes on my channel...

The tremulant of the Taylor and Boody organ for The First Presbyterian Church in Pittsford, New York, copied from memory from the one in the Paul Fritts organ at Notre Dame University. This tremulant gets its wind directly from a valve on the main bifurcation windline, through a 1" copper tube about 6" long. It is almost identical to the one in the organ in Marquand Chapel, Yale University.

Once again, my VCR acted stupidly and snowed out the ending. Here it is in a nutshell: I killed It/U3. Meh, what else can I say about this boss? He's pretty creepy in some parts of the battle, moreso in the first part with the hanging cages. And apparently he can cut through gates, as shown in the second part of the fight. The first part is easy, the second part is a pain at some points. Seems this guy is invincible. But he can be killed with patience. Enjoy! I'd also like to give a shoutout to my friend williepea.
