Crossing into Canada via the Blue Water Bridge on 6/2/2007.

Brave swimmers diving off the Bluewater Bridge foundation in Sarnia, Can you name them? People have been doing this for as far back as I can remember, so that's about 40 years, and I've never heard of anyone getting hurt.

The rails about 4.5' high and the drops over 10' into 9' of water.. pretty fun

Have fries at one of the many fry trucks located under the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia and watch ships pass by as they travel up and down the river.

The Highlander Sea, a gaff-rigged topsail schooner, passes under the Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron, Michigan, to Sarnia, Ontario. According to the crew, there is 8 feet of clearance between the top of the mast and the bridge.

Spring is almost here...as you can see from the ice jam at the mouth of the St. Clair River and Lake Huron. This is looking West towards Port Huron Michigan from Sarnia Ontario..well Point Edward Ontario really.

The day before my birthday, we went on a little trip to Ontario. This is us on our way home that night, crossing the Bluewater Bridge over the St Clair River coming into the USA. The song playing in the background is "Everywhere" by Fleetwood Mac, just so you know what that sound is when we are on the center of the bridge. I think it was on the CD. Driving over the Bluewater Bridge between Canada and the USA, connecting Sarnia, Ontario to Port Huron, Michigan. Beautiful day in July, 2000. This was before 9/11 when crossing the bridge took 5 minutes. Now, it can take anywhere up to 12 hours.....and a quick crossing now is "only" an hour or more. Needless to say, it's a trip rarely made these days.
