Police, Fire, EMS, SWAT, Haz-Mat and area schools all plan and train together on common plans and procedures for both counties in the metro area covering Minnesota and North Dakota. This is the first massive joint training session.

The 1144-mile greenway plan covers Leavenworth, Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties in Missouri.
