October 28, 2006 - Descendants of Harriet Elizabeth Powe and Samuel Gillespie Godfrey gather in Cheraw, South Carolina to remember their roots. Current residents graciously welcomed us into the homes of our ancestors. The symphonic poem was composed by my dear friend Vera Kistler, from Darlington - just down the road from Cheraw. This selection was performed by the Olmuc Orchestra, in her home land of Czechoslavakia

Kendra continues her interviews with residents of Cheraw Acres. This time she speaks with Ashkiua Locklear, not only is she a new home owner, but a young mother who now because of assistance from the tribe is on the way to owning her own home to raise her child in.
