July 27th, 2009 First Nations of Clayoquot gathered to discuss the opportunities to build a co-operative economy in the region. Participants furthered their understanding of the co-operative model and identified opportunities to utilize the co-op structure in meeting their communitys needs.

Some rough seas off Flores Island (Clayoquot Sound, Vancouver Island). Paddling north along the open coast of Vancouver Island from Cow Bay towards Hot Springs Cove; had some confused seas around the headlands but luckily the swell and wind directions lined up which made for good paddling with following seas.

This is a short couple minute video about one weekend in September 2009 when a team of Wilderness Committee staff and volunteers did a "clean-up camp" at Choo-wis Beach on Kennedy Lake in Clayoquot Sound. In the summer of 2007, Iisaak Forest Resources harvested trees from Rankin Cove area in Clayoquot Sound. The forestry operation is certified according to the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council and meets the the Clayoquot Scientific Panel's recommendations. Ecotrust Canada is currently contracted to manage Iisaak Forest Resources.
