The US tour really opened on August 15th with a concert scheduled in New York at the Shea Stadium, home of the New York Mets baseball team. This was the first time in the history of music that a stadium was used for a rock concert ! Seen by 55600 fans, it created a new world record for a pop concert in terms of attendance and gross revenue. The Beatles' share of the $304000 box-office takings was also a record - $160000.

I'd originally posted this as a 10 song video that I'd found on a double DVD of two concerts. I found this video through TheOther on MortigiTempo's forums. This however is the whole 21 song concert :D. There's parts of this that include an audience shot for songs that weren't aired on TV, which are very good recordings. This would have been up sooner, but YouTube has been acting funny and trimming 40 seconds from the ends of these uploads, so I had to add some blank video for it to erase :P ...
