*set to HD* Chad, Abe and I stopped by the Cotton Belt /SSW Museum in Pine Bluff, Arkansas after our Operation LIfesaver Train ride... as we looked over most of the items i asked Chad (RoundHouser) to give us a Little Lesson on this Cotton belt GP30.

*set to HD* I made some progress on the GP40-2. im still waiting on my snow plow to come in. also need to cut some glass out of clear styrene. i think its looking awesome. Keep in mind this is an Athearn Dummy Blue Box kit that started life as a Southern Pacific Speed Letter.it has been repainted and decaled and weathered and detailed by myself. i think its really turned this lame Blue Box kit into something hot! i Hope yall Dig it! I like this video because it was for me one occasion to witness a Cotton Belt "SSW" machine. And I love the SP "Speed Lettering" scheme. Right across, on the UP track, a Southbound Auto Rack wait for the clearance of the Diamond Crossing.

An Unpatched SSW GP40-2 leads an Manifest. I was so excited when I saw this locomotive on the train scedule for today. Glad to see it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Same as the previous video, not too sure where this was filmed though I think around Van Nuys. It is a Cotton Belt I believe 8326 leading this freight train on August 15th, 1998.

By complete chance, my dad and I were going to take some pictures of the buildings that the Colton job serves, (I'm making a model railroad on that line in the Eighties) and we found Zeus ( Named for graffiti on the right side, which was not viewable in the video.) and a clean Cotton belt engine with it.
