DD is just relaxing, slowly getting fatter and healing...

Doctor Decherd was on the Kentucky Derby trail 2006, he won the Aventura Stakes and ran a good race against Barbaro in The Holy Bull Sakes. He retired from the track in October 2008, when he was running in 4K claiming races... He is now slowly healing from a stifle injury, and hoping to be retrained as a sport horse.

Seemed like a pretty easy win to me...was all that whipping really necessary? DD was winning with 5-6 lengths already...

DD is a stakes winner who used to be trained by Steve Asmussen. He was on the Derby trail 2006, won the Aventura Stakes, ran against Barbaro in the Holy Bull Stakes etc. DD retired from the race track in Oct. 2008, and is now healing from injuries and will hopefully be retrained as a sport horse in the future. He is sponsored by the Fans of Barbaro.
