Nubia by Dr. Leonard Jeffries, Part 2
You probably won't see this documentary too many other places. If you do, remember where you saw it first. I received this documentary directly from Dr. Jeffries himself on June 6th, 2008. This is a fantastic documentary that Dr. Jeffries and Brother Tahtki have put together on the history of Nubia in the Nile Valley. What was Nubia you may ask? Nubia was the southern portion of Kemet (Egypt) and the upper portion of the Sudan. "At the far end of the Dongola Reach, as the Nile bends and swings upward, streaming north toward the 4th Cataract, it flows through the province of Napata where, in the town of Kurru and of Nuri, lie the ancient graves of kings. These are the graves of the forgotten kings of Kush, the Black Valhalla through whose ghostly fields may still be heard the distant din of wars, the clash of Nubian and Libyan, of Nubian and Assyrian, over the ailing body of Egypt (Kemet). Here lay, in their trappings of silver and bronze, the mummified horses of Piankhy, Shabaka, Shabataka and Taharka. Here lay the Black princes of the Twenty Fifth Dynasty who, from circa 751 to 654 B.C., threw their shadow of the Mediterranean to the borders of modern Ethiopia, almost a quarter of the African continent. They were among the last of the great sun kings of the ancient world. These kings formed the last bastion of Egyptian (Kemetic) civilization against the advance of the alien." Dr. Ivan Van Sertima - "They Came Before Columbus" Dr. Leonard Jeffries is a Professor of Africana Studies and Political Science at City College in New York City. He is a world renowned historian and one of the leaders of the African-centered movement. You can purchase this video directly from the source at http://www.akhettours.com/services.htm . Please help support Dr. Jeffries and Brother Taaqiy Grant in their effort to teach our people our history and culture. |

Example propaganda video - Hamites and Arabs (native black people) Zanzibar 1964
Sudanese: 'What Arab-African rift?' "The disputes between the Arabs and people in Darfur originate from different reasons grazing, pastures, natural things. They are not rooted in race," said the community elder, sitting under a tree at the Islamic school he manages in Dongola, where both Arab and African children sit side by side. "The Arabs that are here have nothing to do with this." Still, for some Darfurians, it is not so easy to forget. Daoud (not his real name) watched with his own eyes as members of his family were killed by Arab militias in West Darfur. After the first attack on his village, he found his father dead. He says he does not blame the Arabs "Who supported them? Who gave them the guns? Wasn't it the government?" but he still has difficulty getting too close. http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/0822/p06s01-woaf.html Viewpoint: African unity still a dream The Arabic-speaking states of North Africa were, in his vision, no less African than those predominantly non-Arab states south of the Sahara. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6177287.stm |

Imagine a World Without Nubia 2
Art and artifacts from human history help us understand and analyze human life and development. Many important facts about human history are still unveiled, thus saving historic sits is essential so that archeologists can continue their inquisition of human history and help us understand the past as a way to think about the present and plan for the future. The current plans to build dams on the River Nile, will destruct and inundate many of the historical archeologically rich sites that's value is no less than the well-known pieces of European art. Valuable heritage will be flooded and lost forever and ever and ever. The life and heritage of ancient Nubia revolved around water. Nubians marked all important events such as weddings and births by visits to the Banks of the Nile. By building these dams without the consent of the Nubians, the waters will turn into monsters that will inundate important heritage and destroy a whole way of life. A film by Khalid Kodi, Text and Narration by Nada Ali |
