Dorcas & Mr Rushton take an instant dislike to one another, or do they? Appearances can be deceptive.

It's hard to know what the writer really intended for these two. Their romance was a gradual build from eps 2-8, but the writers saw fit to bring it to a juddering halt in ep9..and then his 10yr old son arrives !! JD falls from his horse and decides to leave his only blood relative at the PO in Dorcas' care.... as he rides off into the sunset....will he return?......

Bernard has proposed to Dorcas! Here's what happened... The "Home" team were at McRitchie and decorated the entire place up. We also hid a small cam by the side to record the surprise. Did she say "yes?"
