Town/Crossing(s): Zephyrhills, FL/Melrose Ave Crossing info: The side of this crossing I am on has a older Harmon cantilever, 12x24 Safetran Incandescent lights and no Crossbuck. The cantilever lights are 12x20 WCH/FS lights. The gate is WCH/Federal Signals and the bell is a very rusty WRRS Mechaincal bell! HO Scale. I added some NANO LED's to the steps of the locomotive and also replaced the ditch lights and headlights to bright LED's. The hidious Digitrax soundecoder and the rediculous flashing ditch lights were removed and replaced with a GE 5 chime horn by Soundtraxx. The Tower 55 ES44DC is one of the best engines I've ever owend (other then the mentioned above) and I love it! I really wish Tower 55 was still in business because the HO Scale SD70ACes would probably be out already....

This is a brand new BNSF ES44DC locomotive from MTH. I picked it up June 10th the day after a first saw it. The 2 units are a couple of the sharpest locomotives I have ever seen. The diesel sounds is excellent and the power incredible. If you have any questions feel free to ask or comment!!!

I caught this just in time (pulled up on my bike just as the starting bell started ringing!) I debated cutting that part out, but ultimately decided not to, because you can hear the fuel pump and another locomotive (C40-8W) idling in the background. So here it is: My first video of GE's newest locomotive cranking up. Enjoy! Look closely when the prime mover begins to crank and you will see the engine access doors moving O_O

NS 415 with NSCOThomas and Engineer Thaxton called in to bring this empty to Monterey Mine #1 in Carlinville, IL. A BRAND NEW KCS DE MEXICO ES44AC 4712 and NS 9182 lead a 98 car emtpy TOP GON!!!!!!!!!! train into Monterey Mine to bring out the last of it's coal. This train is from Chicago and will go back once done loading. VERY GOOD CATCH! We chased him for a while and even got him going over Windy Hill RD. Bridge.
