Drifting Angels EWB Las Vegas July 2009
A video depicting the work completed during July of 2009 by Engineers Without Borders Las Vegas Professional Chapter in Ghana. This video shows the completion of the second phase of the Drifting Angels Orphanage Program. This phase included the construction of a pit latrine and a hand washing sink. Clemson EWB: New Orleans Trip Nov. 3-7, 2006
During Fall Break, members of Clemson University's chapter of Engineers Without Borders traveled to New Orleans to help with cleanup efforts there. This video shows pictures taken while we were gutting a house for an elderly woman (Ms. Audrey, the black woman in the video). While much progress has been made since Katrina, the Gulf region is still in dire need of help, and the road to recovery is going to be long and hard. Engineers Without Borders (EWB-UCLA)
This project involves the construction of household-scale rainwater collection systems for the purpose of collecting and storing clean, drinking water supplies for use during the dry season (January - April). Each system utilizes a cast-in-place concrete tank (storage) with PVC piping connected to existing tin roofs (collection). In addition, this project provides training for local masons and creates jobs within the community thereby improving the economic resources of Chocantariy.... |

EWB Australia - Bukit Kauh water connection 18th June 2009
EWB Australia is working with the Tenganan community on the Tenganan Water Supply project . It aims to improve the water to 5 sub-communities in East Bali that make up Desa Tenganan. Bukit Kauh is one of the communities and until recently had no piped water. Previously they walked up to 2.5 hours for their water supply.
