Turas Ireland travelled to film over 87 Four Peaks Teams who scaled the four highest peaks in Ireland's four provinces over the weekend of the 5th-7th June and helped to raise over €412000 to help people who are homeless. Team Thrifty participated in the 2009 Focus Ireland Four Peaks Challenge for the second time in 2009. The challenge was to climb the highest mountain in each of Ireland's four provinces (Carrauntoohil, Mwelree, Slieve Donard and Lugnaquilla) in one weekend while travelling over 1200km in total. A great team building weekend for a great cause.
