As the sun broke the horizon, the gannets diving was increasing with intensity and large numbers of common dolphins were partaking in the feast. We decided that there was enough light and Barry and I decided to try and get in underneath one of the bait balls, where visibility is generally cleaner in the deeper water.

My best ever clip of Gannets Diving off Ballaghennie Beach. They actually fly over every day all the way from Scotland and fly back to feed their chicks when they've finished feeding.

Sardine pilot shoals are expected any day now off the Cape coast.
