Mercredi 01 Octobre 2008:Des pluies torrentielles se sont abattues sur la ville millénaire de Ghardaïa (600 km au sud d'Alger en Algérie) causant la mort d'au moins 200 personnes et la disparition de 48 autres ainsi que la destruction de plus de 5000 maisons. La ville est presque coupe du monde: les réseaux d'alimentation en eau potable en électricité en gaz ainsi que les réseaux téléphoniques en été partiellement a totalement détruit. Les victimes ont un besoin urgent en eau, nourriture, ainsi que d'un abris. Major flooding hits the millenarian city of Ghardaia ( 600 km south of Algiers-Algeria) in the M'zab valley Wednesday october 1st, 2008 : Torrential rains beat down on the millenarian city of Ghardaïa (600 km in the south from Algiers to Algeria) causing the death of at least 200 persons and 48 persons missing as well as the destruction of more than 5000 houses.
