Going-to-the-Sun videos

A narrated video tour of one of the most scenic roads in North America. The Going to the Sun Road cuts through Glacier National Park in Montana. The scenery includes stunning mountains, lakes and wildlife. It was shot in 2003 while forest fires were transforming the park.

This video is a slideshow of my 2006 hiking trip to Glacier National Park set to "Going to the Sun," a song I composed for the piece. This video is dedicated to all Adventure Women everywhere.

Follows the hero's journey, from open lowlands, over mountains and through villages, past desolated mudpots and geysers, and up a jagged cliff. Animated as part of a longer pilot for a children's television show I made. The 2.5D elements were created in Combustion and After Effects, with lots of Photoshop, and a little Maya.
