Shepherd's Hey for Pianola - arranged by Percy Grainger

The composer's own arrangement for pianola of his "Shepherd's Hey" performed on the Steinway Grand Pianola by Adam Ramet. Percy Grainger was very much occupied exploring experimental music and went on from this piece to own his own Grand Pianola which he adapted for musical experimentation. His instrument still exists in Australia today. Many thanks to the great Peter Davis for making this video project possible and for invaluable audio technical assistance!
