The composer's own arrangement for pianola of his "Shepherd's Hey" performed on the Steinway Grand Pianola by Adam Ramet. Percy Grainger was very much occupied exploring experimental music and went on from this piece to own his own Grand Pianola which he adapted for musical experimentation.
