I-57 videos

Caught this tornado crossing I-57 just north of Monee, IL on 6-7-08. The mile marker was actually 335, not 355. This was corrected instantly on the phone. Video is copy written by me and any use of this video MUST be discussed with me first.

Clip 2 of the same tornado crossing I-57. Moderate damage was noted and a semi truck and SUV were flipped over. I was actually near mile marker 335, not 355, luckily they knew where I was already talking about. The tornado itself transitions from a classic cone to a multi vortex wedge, at that point the stopped cars dont realize its still on the ground and actually start driving towards it, but clearly you can see separate vorticies reaching the ground within the broader circulation. Like many tornadoes in illinois, heres one we caught on tape.

Finally getting there. Air shifter didn't hit third gear, and hit 2nd late.

i just wanted to make a lil vid to show poeple the track because no one put one on yet....so here it is i guess. its in west frankfort il and ive been told by a bunch of people that the uphill triple is 150ft but it doesnt feel quite that far..guess ill have to measure it to find out but you should check out the track for yourself...by the way the song is as your falling down by escape the fate

MATTESON,IL 1-57 JUST SOUTH OF I-80 SINGLE SUV ROLLOVER ACCIDENT 1 PERSON INJURED FILMED BY TODD SHERMAN

On 10-04-08 The Tinley Park and Hazel Crest Illinois Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported rollover on the I-57 ramp to I-80. On arrival crews found the driver had self extricated himself and had minor injuries.
