I really love the fact that someone took the time to create a wonderful interurban (trolley) in N Scale. I mean, Illinois Terminal? Beggers can't be choosey, but these are finicky runners. The couplers were brass, so they have to be removed so that they don't short out around curves. Also, there is no traction tire so they have trouble on hills and curves. This beautiful Geep is the only restored IT diesel in America. The NW used it for a while after buying the IT in 1982 but its lack of dynamic brakes and age got it retired soon after and was then donated.

Belt Crossing is where the Belt Railway of Chicago crosses the CN/IC Freeport Subdivision at grade. Several junctions where the Belt crosses another railroad are in the area, such as Nerska, where it crosses the BNSF Chillicothe and CN/IC Joliet Subdivisions.
