The 2008 Imperial Beach Sand Castle Competition draws over 300000 visitors over a 2 day period and is the largest sand castle contest in the United States. We found out that there was a shortage of beach wheelchairs at the vent as we met with Luke who was trying to see some of the sandcastles but not able to with the wheelchair he had.
