The government in, Alaska, has opened an Inupiat Heritage Center, which was originally designed to help tourists learn about the culture. In recent years , a special booth on climate change is also set up at the center.

Four classes of 3 year olds attempt to do an Inupiat Eskimo Dance! SO funny to watch them cause they just can't dance, sing, and stomp at the same time!

The Inupiat living in the Arctic Circle are very good at using fur to make clothes to keep themselves warm in the freezing temperature. Now let's continue to explore the secret of parka - the fur coat for the Inupiat people.

Two dancers at Barrow, Alaska's February 2007 Winter Messenger Feast. The first dancer mimics a walrus while the second parodies Elvis, blending Elvis moves with traditional native Inupiat moves. This is extremely low-res video but you get the idea. The volume should be up to maximum; this went on for three days and I can still hear the chanting a year later. I'm compiling better-quality video and splicing it together, but for the moment, just a bite.

Caribou People is a film about the Gwich'in and Inupiat peoples and their dependence upon the Porcupine Caribou Herd that breeds on the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
