El principal problema que afecta al periodismo ciudadano es el de su aceptación por parte del público. Los periodistas ciudadanos tienen que demostrar lo que valen, ya que el público no está predispuesto a creer que cualquiera puede escribir artículos veraces. El Corea esto se logró gracias a que muchas noticias destacadas fueron que publicadas en primer lugar por periodistas ciudadanos y luego los medios convencionales les siguieron la pista. Esto fue lo que otorgó legitimidad a los medios ciudadanos ante los ojos de la gente. Sin embargo, es un paso necesario, la aceptación del periodismo ciudadano por parte de la gente no puede ser un mero acto de fe, los periodistas ciudadanos tienen que ser puestos a prueba, lo cual es también el principal obstáculo.

Suzhou is a historical and cultural heritage as well as for its natural beauty. In 1981, this ancient city was listed by the State Council as one of the four cities (the other three being Beijing, Hangzhou and Guilin) where the protection of historical and cultural heritage as well as natural scenery should be treated as a prior project. This city comprises of four districts (Pingjiang, Taichang, Jinchang, Canglang and the suburbs) and six satellite cities (Changshou, Zhangjiagang, Taichang, Kunshan, Wuxian and Wujiang), which covers a total area of 8,488 square kilometers with a population of about 5.8 million (1.1 million in the city proper).
