Friday the units came out 154(east)-171-157 by Sat they were at Mills Pond Road in St James with 154 now at the west end followed by 157 & 171 and Sunday they layed up in Smithtown with 157 (east)-171-154. My videos and photos are not in any order on this short video so by the info provided you'll be able to figure out the day.

Train service on five MTA Long Island Rail Road South Shore branches will be affected during the weekend of October 24 and 25 as work is completed on a major signal and switch modernization project in the Valley Stream area. The work will require a 48-hour suspension of train service through Valley Stream. While I was at the party of the graduation party and there's a set of tracks next to the back yard, I see some LIRR metro trains at the backyard while having fun. So I went to the Syosset crossing to catch a metro train. And I was lucky to catch a 2 train meet at this station. First, a westbound train comes to stop for passengers, then an eastbound train comes through the crossing into the station. I never caught a LIRR meet before. This meet came at 5:40 pm.

For the record ALWAYS TRY AN BUFF IN DAMP WEATHER. Sounds carries way better.

I caught this guy digging for gold on a Long Island Rail Road train. I just happened to have my laptop out with a camera on it and could not resist. He goes at it for about 20 minutes but I got the best of it. At one point he actually eats it! Yum.
