New camera, better vids. This is the first vid captured with my new Canon S80 (640x480 30fps). While in L. Cayman, we stayed at Sam McCoy's dive shop. If you are there for the diving (and you should be, as it's not Grand Cayman, afterall), there is no better place to stay. Three squares everyday and the price can't be beat. Tell Sherman that the freedivers (Connor and Ted) said hello.

Marilyn's Cut is a coral valley that is accessible at the top of the wall at 35 feet and following the swim through drops you off the edge of the majestic wall off the North Shore of Little Cayman. A very friendly Nassau grouper greeted us when we entered the water and waited patiently for us to return to the boat at the end of the dive. Lots of interesting animals on this dive.

Great Wall West is another great dive site on the north side of Little Cayman. It is a huge underwater plateau on the edge of the Cayman trench. The top of the wall is flat at about 25-30 feet and when you get to the edge of the wall, it is a shear vertical drop to thousands of feet of depth! It is an impressive wall to see and there is a lot of great marine life on the wall as well as on top of it.

Our yearly dive trip for 2008. Stayed at Pirates Point in Little Cayman for 9 days.

Jackson Wall is a great wall dive - starting at about 25 feet below the boat to the big drop off. The wall is like Swiss cheese - peppered with lots of cracks, crevices and swim throughs. We saw a lot of really interesting animals on this dive including a Goliath Grouper, Caribbean reef shark, eagle ray feeding and several large Nassau groupers. We also found a small cave in the shallows filled with thousands of silversides that were being fed upon by bar jacks and black jacks....
