Cornell MacNeil (born 24 September 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) sing this aria from the Met in 1962! A true Verdi baritone with the darkness of a bass and the ringing top of a dramatic tenor. We no longer hear voices like this singing Verdi. Dark voices with no core/squillo are just as bad as bright voices with only core/squillo, but no darkness to balance it. MacNeil had chiaroscuro.

This is definitely a blast from the past! This video was shot at John Allan and Angela Cameron's 25th wedding anniversary - 1994. It was a thrill to be asked by John Allan to perform and get the chance to jam with Jimmy and John Morris Rankin and have Stuart Cameron sing with me.

"How Do You DO" was written by (Hans van Hemert - Harry van Hoof) Hans van Hemert (Dutch) was the one who formed "Mouth & MacNeil" in the Netherlands and it seems that 1972 was a good year for him, because I have found three versions - all from 1972 - from three different countries! I have yet to find a recording in Dutch - if anyone has one...? There have recently been remixes by "Party Animals" "Scooter" along with German & English remixes by Ballermann Andy & Die Bürokaufmannsfrau In ...

Travis Collier, Harrison Boyce and our friend Chris Martindale headed down to California for a week to escape the cold North West winters. While they were down there, they got a new video camera and put together a few clips.
