MacNeil in Seattle

A rainy weekend in Seattle with Harrison Boyce, Nick Halsey, Dan Montogmery, Chris Martindale... and if you are lucky, you can see Travis Collier in the background!

Cornell MacNeil - Alzati...Eri tu che macchiavi - Un ballo in maschera - Verdi

Cornell MacNeil (born 24 September 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) sing this aria from the Met in 1962! A true Verdi baritone with the darkness of a bass and the ringing top of a dramatic tenor. We no longer hear voices like this singing Verdi. Dark voices with no core/squillo are just as bad as bright voices with only core/squillo, but no darkness to balance it. MacNeil had chiaroscuro.

Glen MacNeil, Jimmy Rankin, John Morris Rankin and Stuart Cameron - 1994

This is definitely a blast from the past! This video was shot at John Allan and Angela Cameron's 25th wedding anniversary - 1994. It was a thrill to be asked by John Allan to perform and get the chance to jam with Jimmy and John Morris Rankin and have Stuart Cameron sing with me.

This video documents Gary Young, Alistair Whitton, Harrison Boyce, and Wade Lajlar on a small road trip from Philadelphia, PA to Greenville, NC. Capturing the riding, joking, traveling and anything in between, this is more of a look inside what it's like to be on the road hitting some great spots with your good friend.

Cornell MacNeil sings high A as Rigoletto

From the end of the opera. After singing this bruiser of a role, MacNeil hits the high note beautifully.

How Do You Do - Mouth and MacNeil & "The Windows" cover

"How Do You DO" was written by (Hans van Hemert - Harry van Hoof) Hans van Hemert (Dutch) was the one who formed "Mouth & MacNeil" in the Netherlands and it seems that 1972 was a good year for him, because I have found three versions - all from 1972 - from three different countries! I have yet to find a recording in Dutch - if anyone has one...? There have recently been remixes by "Party Animals" "Scooter" along with German & English remixes by Ballermann Andy & Die Bürokaufmannsfrau In ...
