Monday afternoon, approaching Grey's Reef with (of course) a Farr 395, a J125 and Peerless behind us. We had a very nice jib reach through the Manitous and followed Bolyard's tactic of "always follow the IRC boat" that kept us well high of the boats around us, but paid big in the end.

Our final day takes us across the Lake where we run into the start of the Port Huron to Mackinac Sailboat Race. From there it's down the river and home to MacRay Harbor.

Here we are cruising a couple of hours after the start. We had nice wind at this point, but it was short lived. We had nice sunshine for a while on Saturday, but Sunday proved mostly gray and dreary.

This video does no justice to what we experienced on Saturday night, but I thought I'd try and put it up anyway. About 6 knots of boatspeed, complete darkness, dense fog and mist. Your only point of reference was the 1" high compass heading 15' or so in front of you. I've sailed in a lot of places at night, but never anything this creepy.

Just some footage of us cruising along on Sunday afternoon. It was a pretty mellow day of light winds.
