Marginalia videos

Marginalia 1.0 BETA

An interactive video installation prototype developed in Processing (http://www.processing.org) programming environment and based on light painting photographic technique. The spectator uses a flashlight to illuminate parts of a dark screen and these parts are then illuminated by a video projection in that area. If the area is no longer illuminated, the projection gradually fades away. Paranoid Lovesick "Marginalia" (3/1/02)

Live at The Bottom Line - Cleveland, Ohio (3/1/02) ~ My favorite PL original. This performance is a bit ragged but gives some idea of what might have been. The band played its final show a month later; Rick passed away the following February ~ Bill Stone (lead vocal, rhythm guitar); Kurt Maracz (bass); John E. Midnight (drums); Rick McBrien (lead guitar - R.I.P.)

Here I Am- MarginaliaMelody

This is me singing "Here I Am" by Leona Lewis. Whenever I hear this song, I think of the troops, so this is for all the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines out there who keep us safe. Thank you. Disclaimer: I did this for fun, not profit! Thanks!

Chronotopic Anamorphosis

Author of Chronotopic Anamorphosis video and software: André Mintz Marginalia Project group: André Mintz and Pedro Veneroso Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil - Thanks for the info, André! The image is digitally manipulated by fragmenting it into horizontal lines and then combining lines from different frames in the display. The result is a distorsion of the figures caused by their motion in time, or, as Brazilian researcher Arlindo Machado calls it: chronotopic anamorphosis.
