Day 2 of our trip took us to the Taos Pueblo, New Mexico... unfortunately, my photos were corrupted during transfer. Only the first pics are of Taos, then we hit the road. On Day 3, we explored Mesa Verde, Colorado. The Balcony House cliff dwelling was constructed in the 1200's !! Amazing!!

Mesa Verde National Park. The Puebloans made this their home from AD 550-1300 but really didn't disappear, they just migrated south to Arizona and New Mexico. You are not allowed to roam this site on your own, you must be guided in and be supervised by a Ranger. The site is locked at all times when there are no visitors. This is one of the best preserved sites in the world.
