This compilation includes many of my favorite NASA UFO encounters/sightings that I have archived over the years. All of these examples (with the exception of the second-to-last one) were captured on film by NASA astronauts or Russian Cosmonauts over the past half-century - showing many amazing examples from different eras - Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyuz Test Project, Skylab, STS, the ISS, plus a couple Russian-source additions from their unmanned Zond and Mir Space Station programs as well ...

NASA has been busy planning for a new spacecraft, the Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV), to be able to rendezvous with the ISS and then to take a crew back to the moon in conjunction with the Lunar Surface Access Module (LSAM). NASA has selected the crater Cabeus, near the moons South Pole, as the spot where it will search for water on the moon. The crater is the optimal target for the impacts of the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite, or LCROSS, and its spent Centaur rocket, in the early morning hours of October 9, 2009. NASA says there appears to be plenty of water on the moon, according to data from a spacecraft intentionally crashed into the surface. Significant amounts of water could make it easier to set up a base camp for astronauts. (Nov. 13)

Jul 31 - NASA scientists say they have definitive proof that water exists on Mars. NASA on Thursday also extended the mission of the Phoenix Mars Lander by five weeks, saying its work was moving beyond the search for water to exploring whether the red planet was ever capable of sustaining life.
