My name is Connie van Rensburg, a 43 y/o South African. In Dec 2007 I was diagnosed with stage IV lobular breast cancer. I have had a double mastectomy, a full hysterectomy, 8 months of chemo and 5 weeks of radiation. In Dec 2009 I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in the liver - I have now had 8 chemos and 4 to go. I have always been scared of heights but decided if I can fight cancer then I can do ANYTHING! So I took the plunge - The Oribi Gorge Swing - the highest in the world ...
