This was the SF urban Riders THIRD Youth Bike Skills Event in 2008. Again we paired with Pilarcitos Cyclecports and brought a temporary and very popular youth event to the kids of San Francisco. San Francisco is a huge bicycle town and currently we have NOT ONE acre of dedicated area for kids to rides their bikes. We are gonna change that!

Bay Area Super Prestige Series Cyclocross kicks off Oct. 4, 2009 at McLaren Park in San Francisco, CA. Big turnout with lots of fun including an impromptu "band"... drummer and guitar, "street" performing at the top of the run-up. That's Paul Sadoff of Rock Lobster on guitar and Alex ?? on drums. Great energy at the event. It'll be a great series this year. Tom Simonson, the event promoter, eventually had to come over and ask the band to cool it, as he did not have a permit for amplified ...

Watch as 2008 Superprestige Champion, Josh Snead attempts to regain the lead in the series that he dominated last year. He's going to need the help of his Rock Lobster teammates, and they need to see Josh win, and hold race #1 winner, and 4-time national cyclocross champion, Don Myrah to third place...or worse!
