One of my favourite resorts in a favourite destination the Iberostar Tucan All Inclusive Resort in Playacar is 'fantastic.'

Yes there is erosion, still it's one of our favourite destinations and we look forward to returning. We stayed at the Viva Wyndham Maya in Playacar.

Blue sky, blue Caribbean Sea, soft golden sand, this is the Riviera Maya. Playacar has lots of great all inclusive resorts, close to Playa del Carmen, Chichen Itza, Tulum, Xcaret, Xel Ha and Cozumel Playacar is a five star destination.

Mayan Riviera - unbelivable. The reason I say that is that many people I have talked to about this Caribbean hot spot really have no idea of how beautiful the area is or how much there is to do once you get here.

Park like grounds, massive 30000 sq. ft. pool, great food at a variety of restaurants and fantastic entertainment, Iberostar Tucan Quetzal possibly the best all inclusive resort in Playacar.

In gorilla's it's the silver back that rules. These howlers are large and wild. They are on the grounds of the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzal in Playacar.

2003 was a good year. The beach has some errosion now but the Playacar Iberostar Tucan is still one of the best I have stayed at.

Hotel RIU Playacar The State of Yucatán is located on the Yucatán Peninsula. It borders the states of Campeche to the southwest, Quintana Roo to the east and southeast, and the Gulf of Mexico to the north and west. As a whole, the state is extremely flat with little or no topographic variation. The exception are the Puuc hills, located in the southern portion of the state.

We took more than 60000 pictures combined during our six weeks of Caribbean travel. Cindy alone took more than 40000 10mp pictures. Spectacular Caribbean images covering everything from morning till late at night.

We love to walk the Playcar beach in the morning. Even when it's cloudy, the air is warm, it's quiet, peaceful and the perfect way to build an appetite for breakfast.

No matter what you see in glossy brochures or commercials promoting travel not everyday in the Riviera Maya is sunny. Still I will take a cloudy day in the Riviera Maya in the fall and winter when the temperature is in the high 20's to low 30's over a cloudy day in BC, Toronto or even London. Cloudy days don't slow down the fun and activities, they just bring a new appreciation for the beauty that is the Riviera Maya Mexico. This is Playacar.
