Went out on a gloomy Gary day to catch a few in the early morning and afternoon. Was fairly busy, but could have been better. Only two trains showed up on the CSX line. On August 21, I railfanned Mason City, Iowa. Once with six different railroads, this has dropped down to only three. (Iowa Traction, a 10-mile electric railroad, was unavailable to film at the time.)
