Shooting Amtraks in Seabrook, MD (Northeast Corrider) when I got a pleasant surprise 30 sec. into this segment.

When I was in MD visiting family last summer, I spent some time at the Seabrook MARC station around the evening rush hour. There were heat restrictions during these few trains, so they were not going full speed. NOTE: I ran out of tape in my camcorder after these clips; the rest of the videos have already been added. Obviously, the heat restrictions have let up, because this southbound MARC commuter train FLYS through the Seabrook MARC station without stopping. I wasn't expecting the change in speed, and was surprised to see this train going this fast.

A southbound Amtrak Regional led by 2 AEM-7s crawls by the Seabrook MARC station. For about the first half of my trip there, there were heat restrictions. Plus, there were many southbounds going into Washington, DC while I was at Seabrook.

A northbound and a southbound Acela pass at the Seabrook MARC station. The reason the southbound was going so slow was because it was closely following the nonstop MARC from the previous video. In fact, it was so close behind that train that it had to stop for a moment at the signals north of the station.

A southbound Amtrak Regional flies through the Seabrook MARC station led by an AEM-7. The train was going so fast, it messed up the video's sound for a second.
