Just flying around with the slow Stick

GWS Slow Stick, - glassed, fuse re-enforced, and some bad flying. 160 Watt Setup - very efficient, very powerful from JustGoFly.com and not using the max prop size ! If I gotta fly slow, it's going to be around obstacles and low altitude. The final pull out was at to high a speed and elevator had little effect in pulling out of dive resulting in a crash.

Some Air to air video we made last weekend. Video was captured on samsung digimax s500, on a slowstick with brushless motor. (the CD was the only one I had at the time)

Maiden flights & landings with a homemade set of floats for a Slow Stick. The CG was WAY off... but it was fun dialing it in. Also, these are my very 1st flights ever off of water! :-)

Here it is. The maiden flight of the worlds only E powered double size slow stick. Wingspan 92". Powered by Bp 3520-7T-8 delta. 6S 2500mah pack. Never went over half throttle and maintained altitude at 1/4 throttle. We had one small issue with a wheel not wanting to roll properly, but that has now been fixed. Special thanks to Easyrydr for alerting us to the acceptable weather and then sticking around for us to get there and doing camera man duties.

Stock Slow stick

Slow stick GWS BP brushless 22mm motor 1kv Electrify 2/3 a 8.4v 1000ma 9x7 prop About 5mph winds. Most cruising at half but full throttle into the headwind. Near vertical climb out and didn't go out more then 30' from lift off spot then it just climbed out. Look out for the road sign, I didn't know the flight path was that well marked!!

10th flight of this plane, My first time ever... flying inverted!

This in my first ever R/C plane build and flight with added Ailerons. I'm by far an experienced pilot. I ended up killing 2 prop just in 2 flights and a broke a wheel. So I bagged it... For the day that is. Better luck next time. I hope.
