I spent 3 nights in Tofino at Eik Landing (Adrienne's Loft) www.eiklanding.com - which was a nice upgrade from the Hostel in Vancouver (Granville Street) where we had stayed earlier. Nanaimo is a pretty little sea port with a great view of the ocean and many islands. Cruise ships dock here and visitors are welcmed by artisans at a flea market by the sea.
