Westminster Hall in downtown Baltimore is well known for being the final resting place of Edgar Allen Poe, but inside the catacombs of what was once an open burial site, the spirits there are said to be anything but restful.

Westminster Abbey I Vow to Thee My Country

From Princess Diana's funeral, the choir and congregation of Westminster Abbey singing "I Vow to Thee My Country". The commentator said it was chosen by Prince William because he knew it to be one of his mother's favourite hymns from school

Westminster Abbey - Dear Lord and Father of Mankind

Westminster Abbey choir and congregation sing Dear Lord and Father of Mankind. The trebles do a verse on their own.

Westminster Abbey Choir - Old 100th

This was a special live service hastily arranged, I think, at the start of the first Gulf War. Here are the wonderful words of Psalm 100 set to the tune Old 100th. The choir sing verse 3 alone, and there's a good descant on the last verse and thunderous organ. Lots more of this to come. It was presented by the Rev Dr Colin Morris, who actually managed to sound like a Reverend in the C of E with a faith in God.

Westminster Abbey Choir - I Know that My Redemeemer Liveth

Tremendous performance by the Westminster Abbey Choir here, singing I Know that My Redeemer Liveth live in front of an audience of billions at the sad occasion of the funeral of Princess Diana. I have edited out parts where the commentator talks over the music. A huge state occasion, under so much pressure, they sing beautifully, perfectly in tune, perfectly in time, perfect diction and articulation. You can hear clearly every word of the profound Biblical message.

Westminster Abbey Choir - Lord Bless You And Keep You

This is the Westminster Abbey Choir performing John Rutter's The Lord Bless You and Keep You. It was performed as part of the 60th Wedding Anniversary Service for The Queen and Prince Philip and broadcast on BBC One on the 19th November 2007.

Westminster Abbey - Oh God Our Help in Ages Past

Sorry for the editing glitch at the beginning, must re-upload! Choir and congregation sing this classic. Men and boys of the choir do a verse on their own, then all join in for the last verse with a soaring descant from the trebles.

Nightmare Creatures Soundtrack - Westminster Roofs

That is another soundtrack from this awesome game, the first one I left in my videos it's called "Jose Manuel the Ripper". I actually thought in the first place that the Ripper soundtrack is the best one but after when I listened to other I think that on is very good as well ... so let's listen to this :D

Palestrina - Sicut Cervus

Just an idea of what they are singing. Sicut cervus desiderat ad fontes aquarum, ita desiderat anima mea ad te, Deus. (As the deer longs for running water, so longs my soul for you, O Lord.) Asi como el ciervo ansia fuentes de agua, así ansia mi alma por ti, Señor.

Princess Diana's Funeral Part 13: The Service Begins

At 10.55am, the cortege arrives at the West Door of Westminster Abbey and the commentary is handed over to the Scottish actor, Tom Fleming. His solemn voice has been used by the BBC for state occasions since the 1950s. The coffin is hoisted from the Gun Carriage and carried inside by the Welsh Guards as Big Ben chimes eleven o'clock in the background. The Houses of Parliament are just around the corner from the entrance to Westminster Abbey. The British national anthem is sung as the camera zooms in on the Royal coat of arms in Westminster Abbey's stained glass: God save our gracious Queen, Long live our noble Queen, God save the Queen! Send her victorious, Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us; God save the Queen! The coffin begins its journey to the Altar to sound of the Funeral Sentences: I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. (St. John 11:25,26) I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God; whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another. (Job 19:25-27) We brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. (1 Timothy 6: 7; Job 1: 21)
